About US

We are a small NZ Registered Rattery nestled in the heart of Pinehaven in Upper Hutt, New Zealand.

We aim to breed ethically and responsibly focusing on healthy, happy babies with friendly temperaments to make fantastic family pets.

We are currently working alongside our fellow registered breeders to further uncommon markings like head spots and blazes, as well as variegation and minimal hoods. 

We love rats of all colours and and will always prefer to better health and temperament over markings. 

We love to spoil our mischiefs with spacious living areas and lots of enrichment.  Both mischiefs (Bucks (=boys) and Does =girls) live in extra large cages and even have their own rat room that we nicknamed 'Bohemian Rat City'.  

Please note that our rats are handled daily and have been exposed to everyday family noises like vacuum cleaner, loud music, dogs barking and children play!
